Il pleut toujours ?

I dont know why I find umbrellas so fascinating. Perhaps it is the curious geometry that they create, like the wonderful compositions of a Hokusai, or the somehow romantic feeling that the intimacy of the umbrella creates. Or perhaps it is both!

This is a small painting, using mainly acrylic for its drying speed with just a small use of oils.
